Below gives you an overview of what to expect Race Day morning
Where to Park?
Race Location: Mavis Stouffer Park – 1000 Stouffer St, Ripon, CA 95366
The park has limited parking that is notated on the map in light blue boxes. We also have access to the San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club parking lot. You must exit the Swiss Club parking to Manley Rd, and walk up to the Stouffer Park entrance. There is no access directly between Swiss Club and Stouffer Park.
Parking is also allowed on the street. Please always obey signs and traffic laws.
Where do I go after I park?
The Start and Finish Line are near the Gazebo which is down at the south end of the park. If you did not pick up your packet during early packet pick up at Alpine, you can get your packet here. We will encourage racers to pick up their bib before the race, but their swag bag after the race! This will eliminate you having to run back to your car with your goodies.
Several of our sponsors will be out with booths and Volente Coffee will be pouring coffee for free for racers. Come hang out and enjoy the pre-race festivities.
Packet pick up will start at 7:30am.
Where are the aid stations and potties?
Below are overview maps of each course including the area names of each course section. Half Marathoners will hit each aid station twice. 10K racers will have aid at mile 3. 5K racers will have aid at mile 1.4.
Race Wave Schedule & Awards
The Half Marathon will start at 9am SHARP. The 10K will go out 10 minutes after at 9:10am. The 5K will go out 10 minutes after at 9:20am.
You will see the large start line and corral. Please seed yourself in the lineup. If you’re a sub 6 minute runner, you should be towards the front. If you’re walking the 5K, please be towards the back. This will help with traffic flow as racers head onto the trail.
*NOTE* There is one stretch (approximately .6 – 1.4 miles) into the course where there could be traffic both ways (out and back). Please stay to the right on both the out and the back. Should you want to pass a racer, please do so at an appropriate and safe time.
WATCH FOR CROSS TRAFFIC AT ANY INTERSECTION ON THE COURSE!
Awards will be near the gazebo and are for the overall M & F 1, 2, 3 of each race. Additionally, awards for 1, 2, 3 in M & F Age Group categories will be awarded.
